Review by Margaret Miller via Book Explosions Grace deHaviland, a bounty hunter in pursuit of a white-collar bail jumper, finds herself entwined in a complicated mess full of mystery and intrigue. What should be a slam-dunk catch for Grace turns into a dangerous pursuit of a man that desperately wants to protect his family and escape his past, and he’ll do anything to achieve that, including kill if necessary. There are quite a few twists and turns that keep you reading late into the night. The characters are vibrant and well thought out, as is the story itself. Although there were quite a few typos that were a bit distracting (nothing a good proof-reader couldn't resolve), the pace was everything I look for in a good thriller/suspense story and definitely leaves me wanting more!
