Review by Margaret Millmore Terrorists (foreign and domestic), a handsome Homeland Security agent (Matt Lilburn), a sexy English doctor (Dr. Evangeline Crawston), non-stop action and intrigue, not to mention betrayal and murder, this book has it all! When the threat of a terrorist plot is discovered, Homeland Security calls in Agent Lilburn and a well known scientist, Dr. Crawston to assess the situation and find the terrorists’ target. The chase to stay ahead of the terrorists is daunting—someone is helping them stay one step ahead of Agent Lilburn and his team. The characters are exciting and well developed and there are many additional characters along the way that lend credibility and realism to this well researched thriller. Unfortunately (for me at least), the use of British/New Zealand colloquialism detracts from the realism mentioned above because the main story takes place in America, but more specifically the characters are American and wouldn’t use those terms. I also felt that the editing began to lag in the last quarter of the book and slowed down an otherwise exciting and fast paced ending.
