Muki, Abdul, Judith and Larry continue their journey right where the last book left off. Though I'm not a huge fan of books that contain political plots, I made the exception for Destination DC, as I did with Gateway:Pioche. So far this book has been the only exception to that rule, which is saying a lot.
The main characters uncover a sinister plot by a secret government organization hiding in plain sight, who are planning to overthrow the US government and start a new world order. They are still being pursued by the goons from the first book, while searching for someone, anyone they can trust.
I loved the scientific possibilities, the easy-to-follow story line, the lovable and funny characters. And of course, I was blindsided by the twist at the end. Sure didn't see that one coming. I highly recommend this book, but read Gateway:Pioche first. You won't be disappointed.
